I ended up in his house again.

Shit. Fuck.

I know this before I even opened my eyes because the place is warmer than the beach.

“Here. For the headache.”

I open my mouth to accept the pill. It clangs into my mouth and i try swallow.

Trying my best to remember what happened hours before. I remember opening the wine. That darn wine. I had drank more than half the bottle.

“it’s almost like this is our thing. Waking up in your bed with no memory of how I ended up here, I still can’t remember everything from last time, then making out, someone regretting it, then I jump out of your window.”

He doesn’t say anything in response so I think I am alone. But when I crack open an eyelid, there he is, sitting crossed legged on a sofa opposite the bed.

He was staring straight at me, his expression unreadable.

“Relax. I’m not coming on to you. I have self respect too.”
