Isla’s POV

She doesn’t remember me. What happened to her?

“Cora it’s me your sister don’t you remember?” I gasped holding her shoulders and looking into her eyes. There was nothing. She had no recognition of me.

My own sister.

Eric placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled sympathetically.

“How can she not know who I am, but she recognised you as her mate? That doesn’t make any sense to me.” I complained as their pack doctor approached me with a glum look on his face. He scratched the top of his greying hair and let out a heavy sigh.

“Miss Cora has had a nasty hit to the head and make her lose her memory. Unfortunately, we don’t know if it will come back or if it does how soon. It would seem the accident has caused her wolf to retreat.”

His words rang in my head, and I wanted to burst into tears, but I couldn’t. Nothing came out. I was in far too much shock.

If me and Mora had not been arguing, then perhaps none of this would have happened.
