Emma looked at her naked body in the mirror which was showing her clean but deep inside she felt filth all over her body, the touches of Henry’s were a bitter reminder of the mud he had drowned her into.

Bracing her weak and crumpled heart, she stepped out of the washroom wearing a bathrobe.

By the time she returned home, her parents were already gone. They had a train to catch to return to the city while Jacob started to clean the mess so that Emma won't get bothered or stressed from the mess.

Looking at the clean house and so much consideration from Jacob Emma’s heart got heavier from the guilt of what she had done just now.

Clutching the bathrobe tightly, she went to Jacob who was busy cleaning dishes in the kitchen.
