Talia's pov. 

Mind of mine was in its peaceful state, caught up with the silence of the whole room. Lately, I've been grasping the scent of old books I've always read in the past. I missed the old times, the scent of books and painted calligraphy so as discerning the dust particles in the air from the old bookshelves. 

While I am sipping the tea from my teacup, I was reminiscing the old good times when I was still at my teenage years. I was the lady who chose to stay silent and lived a life without getting involved into any tensions. 

"Rumors that the nobles failed to pass their request about abolishing your crown. That's why the Sylvestrian people are creating a ruckus outside the Imperial Palace to surrender the imperial seal," Declan said. 

I hummed and put the teacup on the table. "I guess they aren't good enough," I mumbled.
