The Rescue

Carson's POV

It was six o'clock when I decided to call my training quits and head home. As soon as I left school, I have been here and I was training as hard as ever. This was my shot at the grand prize and I wasn't going to mess it up. Hell, I'm going to fight for it!

I bid my friends goodbye as I got in my car and drive home. My father didn't want anything to do with me. Fine, I'm not going to force him. He doesn't want to fund my tuition into college. I'll find my own way. I'm not going to let anything or anyone get in the way of my dreams.

I pulled up into the driveway of my house and get out of my car. I went inside the house and up the stairs to my room. I wanted to stop at Kayla's room, but decided to have a shower first. I don't know why, but I don't feel complete unless I see her. I don't know what she has done to me, but I know that I have never felt this way before.

I have become addicted to her laugh, her smile, the way she teases me and I'm always getting pulled in by her
