I have to concentrate really hard not to let anything get through the facade I’ve set up for this meeting. I need my mom to confess to having conspired with a dark witch and kidnapping my mate and her brother. I can’t believe it’s come to this. She seriously did this to me. Her own son. It was not enough for her to try it with Dale and Ashton, she had to take it a step further.

“My mate and your mate were kidnapped. We were on our way to a meeting when we were ambushed.” Jenna keeps saying, as if trying to jock my memory. I furrow my eyebrows in concentration. I can feel how Isabells keeps sending calming vibes through our bond. She must feel how on edge I am. I not Dale has it worse than me. He has always been closer to our mother, whereas I as the future Alpha was closer to our dad through training and Alpha duties.
