Sophia felt genuinely angry at Henry. Seeing Anna cry that she didn’t want to return to Zimbabwe even though she was half-delirious broke her heart. Anna coughed as she ate her breakfast. She was tired of having soup. She had checked herself out the night before. She had lost a lot of weight because she wasn’t able to eat solid food for a while.
