CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE

*Now, eyes on the mission*

"Hello Mum, how are you?"

"Hanging in there until all is said and done."

Drake puffed out a deep breath as he clutched the phone close to his ears and made his way to the armchair by the window side. It's a gloomy and chilly afternoon. Winter is drawing close here in London.

The afternoon sun gleamed weakly, casting its light into the window.

He had finished his morning warm-up at the stables with the horses, fed them and groomed them.

Mr Jordan had noted that the horses should be prepared for a warm-up. He said about four horses. Drake had wondered what Mr Jordan is preparing them for. Maybe he is expecting some visitors?

It's been ages since they had ridden in a group like that Since Janice's uncle came around.

After he had finished warming up the horses he returned to his cabin room and realized he had missed several calls from his mother, Mary Orwell.

It's been a while since she called. She probably has another side
