CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO

*There's so much she doesn't know about and it is disturbing!*

"Welcome back Honey and a hearty congratulations on your award. You know that I'm always proud of you!"Her mother said with a wide smile plastered on his face as he kissed her on her cheeks.

She returned to London today and Mr Briggs was sent to the airport to pick her up.

"Thank you, Dad. It feels so good to be back in London. Meanwhile, it is already freezing in Paris." She said as she slumped into the comfy couch, exhaling a wary sigh.

"That's the peeks of staying in London! London no doubt has the most amazing accommodating weather ever. You ready to eat?" He said as he joined her on the couch opposite hers.

"Or a drink perhaps? it must have been an exhausting trip for you because you had to leave a little early."

She shook her head gently.

"Not exactly."

He nodded.

"By the way, your speech was fantastic. I couldn't help but cry. Your Mum must be so proud of you." He smiled
