CHAPTER 22

NOAH’S POV

As soon as I saw Ava get in the car with Wesley and drive away, I got the same sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. I saw her guard get in his car and start to follow them as well, so I got in mine and headed to the hotel.

As soon as I got back to the hotel, I took the elevator to my room on the 25th floor and I went inside to see two sets of eyes staring at me.

“Well?” My best friend Jackson asked.

“It’s everything that I thought it would be.” I said, putting my keys on the table of the penthouse apartment.

“So, she is the one?” My other best friend Mason asked.

“Yeah. She is.” I said, grabbing a beer out of the fridge and I sat on the chair opposite the couch.

“Did you tell her?” Jax asked.

“Of course I didn’t tell her. Her whole life was uprooted just over a week ago. She’s still getting used to living here in the city, being the daughter of an Alpha and she’s already got a boyfriend.” I said.

“Wow. That didn’t take long.” Jax said. And I growled at
