Murmurs rose all around us as Alpha Evan continued to glare at Nick who was struggling to breathe, clawing at Alpha Evan's hands to get him to put him down. "I, uh, I was just, um, going back?" I said, but it ended up being more of a question than anything else. I was extremely nervous and could feel my hands begin to sweat.
