Veles ducked the incoming knife as he caught it mid-air with his hand. The sword in his other hand meets their necks. Each of them fell with a heavy thud as their blood spilt on the porcelain floor. The others remaining on the other side spun around and widened their eyes as their hands shook. Veles couldn’t be any more startled. First, the guards of his kingdom were attacking them, and he couldn’t be any more pissed at their mutiny.

“You know how much I despise traitors?” He growled as his claws elongated and sparks of ice extended into sharp blades as they meet their necks. And part of him feels guilt about having the death of warriors he trained himself on his hands. But they were in danger, trying to kill him and his brothers. And he couldn’t stand it.
