Yes, I agreed to be Kate and Jerry's adopted daughter, and my kids now had Hamfeild attached to their names. Everything I watch my kids live and enjoy a privileged life, my heart aches at the fact that Meena is not here.

I was not the only one that missed Meena's bubbly personality, Chris did too. For months after her death, Chris had withdrawed to himself. A few nights, I had caught him crying in his bed, and when I asked, he told me that he missed Meena.

I guess he loved her so much, despite them always bickering and going at each other's throat. Or maybe, that had been their way of showing each other love.

We were all in a better place now. I had learned to look in the mirror, and I appreciate the beauty of my face. I no more had appointments with therapists, psychologists and doctors. I had learned the loops of the Hamfeild business and was being trained to take over when my parents finally decided to retire.
