I had no idea what Alexandra, the cab driver, had said to his Aunt Laura that she had no issues whatsoever with taking us in.

She actually loved the idea of having kids running around the house. She loved the sound of their laughter and even their quarrels. Seeing as she's unmarried and had no children of her own, I could understand why she liked having the kids around.

After a week of staying with Laura, she has began discussing activities of the ranch with me. Turns out that the ranch was in danger of being closed, so I decided to help her as she had already helped my kids and I. I started helping out in the ranch and giving her advice on what to do and what you not to do.

Before long, the ranch boomed into life and we had to apply for new helping hands to come and help around the ranch. Despite my protest, Laura made me the manager of her ranch and before long, she made me her bonafide partner in the business. I couldn't believe it at first.
