CHAPTER 7 ( VOL. 2 )

Arthur runs through a cluster of shadows, wielding Excalibur in hand as it glowed with a golden hue. The creatures were repelled by the light and could not take a hold of his as any attempt ended with a shaped creature burned to a crisp. Arthur does not care for the small fries as he runs towards something much bigger; a shadow monster the size of a sky scraper was moving onto short and he knew that it would pose a serious threat to the knights if it got into the battlefield. The monster notices Arthur’s dash and sends more shadows his way but Arthur slices through it with one strike of his blade as he leaps into the air and sends an arc of energy straight at the creature, his attack does so much as to cause the creature pain as it screeched in a loud voice upon impact but it didn’t slow it’s movement as it soon recovered from the blow and reached out for Arthur who was still in mid air
