Arriving at the student's common room, Alex and I have made our hang-out spot between classes. I didn't think too much about the fact the place was empty. On a typical day, there were a good dozen or so students milling about. I didn't even think twice that Alex wasn't there yet. I normally got there first, so that wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I didn't even think twice when I picked up on some of the wolves that belonged to a different pack than my brother. After all, this was a student commons room, and they were students. Overlooking all this would turn out to be a mistake. One I learned real fast as the pack wolves surrounded me. One of them behind me covered my mouth and nose with a cloth that smelled awful. On instinct, I tried to fight whoever it was off, but the others quickly jumped in, helping to hold me down. Whatever was on the cloth was quickly making it hard to stay conscious.
