As soon as I turned 18, I felt it. My heartbeat changed, and I knew it had to do with my mate. I had been catching her scent for as long as I could remember. Neither mom nor dad could explain why I was able to find her scent at such a young age. I never told anyone that I had been able to talk with my wolf since I was five. I don’t know why but I have. The other guys admitted to me that they had also been able to talk with their wolves since they were five as well. I still have not come up with a viable reason for this, and neither have the others. I think even Natayla was able to speak to her wolf when she turned five, but she has never told us that she had. It was just a guess. I could see her zone out, and sometimes she would be talking to herself, but her voice wouldn’t be the one that I was used to hearing. I have no idea why she won't admit that she has been talking to her wolf since she was young.
