It has been six months since Nyalia died in the fire. Hell, none of us even knew where she and her human mate were living. I was even more shocked to learn that she and her mate had two daughters. We found out that the oldest had just turned 18 a week ago. I did try and find them, but it was like they had vanished. After the oldest was taken to her grandmother by a family friend, it was like they never existed. I know that Ares tracked down the last known address of the grandmother, but all he found was a dilapidated shack that no human could survive living in. I could not find anything about the girls, like their names or even their birth certificate. Since the house burnt to the ground, any pictures went with it, so we didn’t even have pictures of them.
