Noises from the baby monitor roused me from sleep, proclaiming their hunger. While I had fallen asleep from exhaustion again last night, it was a different kind. Remembering last night's events brought a smile to my face. Daemon had been so gentle in his lovemaking, not that he was rough usually. It's just that this time had been more sensual and loving.

Obviously, Daemon was also exhausted because he didn't wake up. I got up to heat the bottles for the twins by myself. I would have to express more milk afterwards, but there was enough for now. Both babies were changed first, and then, sitting the twins in their recliners, I was able to feed them simultaneously. While I was doing that, Daemon came in.

"Did I wake you?" I asked.

"No," he answered. "It was more that you weren't in bed beside me that woke me up."

Daemon took over feeding one of them, meaning they could be picked up and held.

why in this chapter does it say she can always look into her "boys" eyes and refers to both of them as boys but when she had them the midwife said "here is your SON and DAUGHTER"?
