Solana's POV

I thought Alton will silent smoke on the corner but after a while I felt him seating beside me.

I looked at him with a creased forehead a bit annoyed and confused at the same time about what he planned to do.

"My knees feel numb standing there," he reasoned but I didn't bother to respond.

It was followed by a long silence but after a while, he broke it again.

"Jeremiah is courting you?" he asked. I turned my head at him with my eyebrows furrowed annoyed that he kept on bugging me with his useless questions.

"Why do you care?" I asked in an irritated tone.

A smile appeared on his lips as if he is entertained by what he is seeing.

"I am just asking Solana," he defended. I rolled my eyes at him and then focus in front.

"Jeremiah is a good guy but you won't make a good couple," he commented as if I am asking for his opinion.

"Why? Because I am a slut and your friend is too good for me?" I ask sarcastically looking at him with raised eyebrows and arms folded on my chest.

"You
