I hummed a tune from one of my favorite songs as I stepped out of the shower. I grabbed a clean towel and dried myself up before walking into my room to get ready for the day.

Today, I was in high spirits. Not only did I score an A+ on a test that I wrote last week but my relationship with Jamie was going well. I couldn't wait to see him and I hoped that our class schedules were not overlapping.

I pulled on a black long sleeved shirt and ran a hand through my damp hair. I should probably dry it out completely but I was running late for class. I guess the natural air from driving with the window down would serve its cause. 

The sound of my doorbell echoed into the apartment, making my brow arch in wonder. Who could it be so early? Room service isn't coming over for another ten to fifteen minutes and I usually eat my breakfast from Starbucks or other coffee shops around.

It rang again.

"Hold on!" I yelled
