I stared at the mess of clothes on my bed as I debated on whether I should leave or not. The curtains were still drawn and only a few rays of light managed to brighten some parts of my room.

I was originally supposed to leave tomorrow evening if things took a turn for the worst, but after having everything blow up in my face, I didn't see the point in staying any longer.

It was 10:44am and I hadn't stepped out of my room since last night. The atmosphere was already so tense that I could feel it radiating off my door. I sighed, rubbing my temples to soothe my current headache.

Thinking about the previous night was like continuously pressing on an open wound. I've completely shattered my relationship with my father and made my mother have such a grieved expression. The situation was too fragile and painful to bear.

I wondered if I would ever hear their praises again because now, I wasn't their perfect son anymore. An idle smile played on my lips when I thought about Jamie. O
