CHAPTER 31

Josephine and Maxine were almost at the gate.

"Where do you two think you're going?" Rocco asked

"We're going out why?" Josephine asked rudely.

"Your mom asked me not to let the two of you leave the house." Rocco said

"Listen I know you're just trying to do your job. But that's to guard the house and not me, I'm not a prisoner here. I'm the young mistress of the household." Josephine said

"I know but..."

"I don't care what mom said. Audrey is already out the door, and you dare stop me?" Josephine asked

"Calm down Jo." Maxine said

"We aren't going that far we'll be back soon." Maxine said

"I'm not calming down, I'm calling mom." Josephine said dialing Eleanor's number.

"Josephine what is it? We left barely two hours ago and you're already calling." Eleanor asked

"Mom I know you're on your honeymoon, and I wouldn't have had to disturb you if you hadn't asked Rocco to keep us locked in. Why was Audrey an exception?" Josephine asked

"Because she doesn't go out." Eleanor said
