CHAPTER 38

Adrian walked into his room angry and dejected. His mother fooled him into coming home just for his little sister. He wasn't ready to face her just yet.

They weren't always like this, they used to be best of friends. Adrian had once dotted on his little sister with every fiber in his bones. He loved her and he wouldn't let anyone lay a finger on his little sister.

But things changed when his father died he was lost in grief. That was when his sister admitted something she did and since then he was cold to her. To him it was all her fault their father died.

A year and a half ago in the Maximilian's villa Adrian was having fun with his mom and sister when his father's bodyguard walked in bruised and injured.

"What happened to you Milton?" Hailey asked surprised

"I'm so sorry ma'am I failed." Milton said

"What are you talking about? Where's my husband? Where is he? And why are you here alone?" Hailey asked in one go.

"I'm so sorry to report this madam but Mr Maximilian is dead." Mil
