2 and half year ago. "Mr Volkov, how are you feeling today?" Said the lady dressed in mustard turtleneck. Her voice soft and welcoming. She soflty gazed her hand over Lucas's hair and smiled when Lucas's face broke into warm smile. "I'm Good." He replied. He saw his therapist giving him another warm smile in return. He likes it, the way she smiles, how she always smiles and never once gets irritated by him or shows an expression. "Three words again, that's a progress." She stretched her hand up for a high-five. Lucas took some time but then clapped it. "You?" Lucas asked. He saw the lady stopped turning pages and looked at him. He felt like he stepped a line or something. He lowered his eyes back to his lap. "Im good, great actually, happy." She smiled. "And you know why?" She asked. Lucas looked up, kept watching her and then darted his eyes off. "No." "Because of you, you make me happy." She replied and Lucas's face broke into another smile, this time even the teeth w
Miles Theo, 20 year old cute innocent boy who came to Brooklyn to study. Only knows Christopher who is his best friend. Christopher Corbin, Miles's friend who love him more than anyone. Lucas Volkov, Christopher's friend who lives in the same building and had been Christopher's school fellow. Soon to be Miles's nightmare. "Yeah Chris, I just arrived." The petite blonde boy struggled to hold his phone, the purse and the suitcase all at once. "Give me the money so I can leave." The driver said annoyed and he gestured him to wait for a minute. "Chris call me again after 5 minutes, I need to pay for the ride and to take my luggage inside. I can't do that all at once." Miles said frustrated. "Bear, be very careful okay. Just give him 10 dollars not more than that. And keep me on the call. They can fool you..." Christopher wasn't able to come out of the phone or else he would have. "Chris I'm not a baby. I know how to handle the situations." Miles can't handle stress very well and r
“Ahhh. Fuck." Lucas groaned, making his elbows support his body to lift from the ground. "Ouch. That fucker did hit hard." He cursed. Looking around he knows he is already inside. "Ah shit. It still hurts like a bitch." It took him about good 10 minutes to get on his feet, he really went too loose on alcohol today."Ahh Christopher come on, at least buy yourself good, flavoured juice." He said annoyed as he found orange flavoured juice in the refrigerator. He still took a glass of milk and walked back to the living room. Getting comfortable on the couch, he switched on the TV to entertain himself till Christopher come back. "You, fucking, alcoholic. How many times did I tell you do not get tipsy to the point that you lose the track of ground. How many fucking times I told you to go to your own apartment when you are drunk." Christopher yelled as soon as he came inside. It's 5 in the evening, he left as early as he can. It still took him 45 minutes to get back home. "Hello to you
“You haven't slept the whole night. What's troubling you?" Cal asked with concern. He has seen James awake the whole night. "Something isn't right. I don't feel okay." James whispered. "That's because you haven't slept. Take a nap, you'll feel good." Cal told him stroking his hairs softly. "No, you don't understand. Ever since he told me that he wants to go, something felt wrong and now it's messing with me. I can't pinpoint what is it, but it's something big. I told you......I was never in favour of him leaving, it was y—-""Calm down, will you? You talked to him at night. He is at his friend's house, he is safe. And Miles isn't that young that he doesn’t know what is good for him and what not. He needs to grow, he needs to see understand on his own Jemmy, that's how he'll grow up. You can't put him under your wings for rest of his life. Let him fly." Cal said calmly still playing with the strands of James. "I know that's important for him but you.....you also know why I'm worri
It's the first day of new school, first day of new life. Whatever it will be, Miles was determined to live it full. He will live through all of the moments that once he only saw in tv and newspapers. He is a high school student now. Miles made way to his department. He took arts. So, the classes schedule will be shared with them after today's orientation. A new beginning indeed. He was lost as it was first time and wanted somebody to guide him. He has walked past the reception and don't even know the way around to go back and look for the department map. He breathed in and out to calm himself. Stress isn't good for him, and he can't handle stress well anyway. He took a step forward hoping he will find some help. He read in the article published on school's website that students in this school are emphatic and kind. Helping others was in the goals of the school. This policy of the school was also one of the reasons why Miles chose this school. He was confident to find some help.
Lucas sat down, throwing the bag on the floor in the corner. He got comfortable at the square shaped heighten leather cushion. Something dropped out of Miles's bag making a small noise causing Lucas to lazily see. Lucas had and amusing chuckle escaping his mouth when his eyes landed on the object. "Well well isn't he a total loser. Needs an artificial air to breath." Lucas picked the inhaler and looked at it fully. Lucas threw the inhaler in the dustbin instead of putting it in the bag. He picked his bag making way to the same cushion. "Let's see what he got." Lucas whispered getting comfortable on the couch. He pushed his hand inside. The first thing that came out was the glasses case, he threw it on the ground. The second was poor boys’ wallet. He opened it. It was full of money, not very much but still much for a school student. Lucas raised an eyebrow getting amused on how much the boy had in his pocket. "He must be really billionaire". Little did he know. "But he is still s
Christopher just got free. It was currently 11:30. "Bye Christopher." One of the employees said as they both left the building together."Bye Alicia. Be careful while walking home." Christopher said out of curtsy. He is a gentle man. "You too." The girl replied when they both parted going opposite directions. Christopher took his phone out calling Miles. It just kept on ringing, but no one was picking up. He was worried, Miles never missed a call, but he was a bit relieved understanding it was so late. He is asleep by now. Christopher cut the call and called Lucas. He knew younger will be awake. He sleeps really late. And just as he thought the call was picked on the third bell. "Hello." Lucas said uninterestingly. "Lucci." Christopher said. "Ofcourse you called me so I'll speak dumbass." Lucas scoffed. "Where is Miles?" The name alone infuriated Lucas."He actually should be at museum for his weird personality but he is in your apartment." Lucas laughed. "Find a lock for you
"Everyone, eyes on the target and just keep passing the ball." Moura yelled. The while basketball court is filled with boys practicing."Luca, move fast." Moura yelled. Lucas was relatively slow as compared to other days. The truth is he couldn't sleep properly last night. "Why are we even practicing?" He groaned in annoyance. He looked around to everyone and saw all of them were genuinely practicing. "Because we fucking got a match with other schools. Now get your ass concentrate on the field." Moura yelled followed by the whistle making everyone alert. "Mr. Black." A young boy called as soon as he entered the basketball ground. The called male turned watching the very familiar boy standing at the entrance of the room. "Yes." "I apologize for disturbing you in between the practice but Mr. Lee is calling for Lucas." The boy said very politely. "Why do you have to apologize for that." Moura smiled at the boy turning back to the players playing. "Lucas." He yelled. The boys didn
