Chapter 25

Christopher woke up at 7 am on the sound of alarm. The night was rather disturbed as compared to the others. He didn't feel like waking up. He just wanted to pull the cover up his head and sleep.

He has no other option but to wake up. He pulled his body up to sit and used his hands to brush the remaining sleep away from his eyes.

His gaze fell on the sleeping figure of Miles beside him. He looked so peaceful while sleeping. His one arm clutching the cover close to his chest and the other that was bandaged was lying straight on the bed.

Bandaged

"What might have happened?" Christopher whispered. The look that he saw on Miles's face yesterday was horrifying. Something terrible happened to Miles yesterday that is for sure.

And then the call yesterday? Why was Miles crying?

Yes, Christopher was awake and he was the one who texted James saying Miles miss him and he should call him. Well, he had to do something to force the truth out of Miles.

But it didn't work. Miles didn't tell anyt
