Chapter 54

Miles woke up but he felt a heavy weight over his body. He had to close and open his eyes few times to adjust to the light in the room.

He then looked down on his body and some of the flashes of last night flashed in his eyes. His eyes filled with the warm water that burns his eyes, but he still closed his eyes to keep them inside.

It still breaks his heart; he's been thinking about those words the whole night and cried every time he felt the sincerity of the words.

Flashback:

He had a silent surrounding and then he felt the door of his room open, he felt a presence in the room and to be honest he was scared. He has his reasons, but he was scared.

And then it was silence, just silence and for a second, he felt he is alone, maybe he can open his eyes as till now he was scared to even open his eyes. And just when he was about to, he heard a sniffle.

"Bear—-" a single word made his heart speed increase. The pain and the vulnerability in the voice of his best friend made his heart c
