CHAPTER 9

CASPIANS POV

Sitting at my desk, I tried hard to focus on my work, but it seemed impossible. I was unable to stop myself from thinking of Tamsyn.

She was so young yet very intelligent. I was supposed to be thinking about the mission, but all I thought of was her. She haunted my dreams and made my wolf restless.

She created sensations in my body, and I couldn't help but wonder if she was aware of how much she affected me.

The recent murder in my pack made me realize that making peace and working with her was the best solution both for the pack and myself. Having her by my side made me focus, and my wolf was always calm whenever she was around.

The only thing I felt like doing next was bringing her into my home, and just like that, my need to see her gone vanished.

What I wanted to do next was to make her change her mind slowly, and one day she would realize how strong our bond is and what a blessing the Luna gave us.

I was still thinking of a new way to escape all that when a knock sou
