I started pressing my staff harder onto her collar bone, making sure that she felt the weight of my threat. For her sake, I hoped that she was going to submit to me, because I would not hesitate in doing the damage that was necessary. But there was something in her eyes that was daring me to do it. It was like she didn't believe that I was actually capable of all of this, and honestly speaking, it was somewhat triggering for me. I didn't like it. It made me all the more determined to hurt her.

"I think that we can all agree that there is a clear victor here. There will be no need for anyone to submit to anyone."

I clenched my jaw, willing myself not to turn around to see who had just spoken - because I knew who had spoken. It was Elijah. He had come here, and now he was exercising his right as Alpha to call shots on matters that he had no business in. I could not deny the fact that I was quite bothered by it, but I knew that there was nothing that I could do other than to step away
