Devika’s POV

I took a deep breath before knocking softly on the door to make sure not to be disturbance him. It has been hours since Adrian locked himself in the office, not allowing anyone inside. He even ordered Marcus to postpone all his meetings or plans for today and blocked everyone out so that no one can mind link him. “I said already, that doesn’t disturb me.” he barged at me from behind the door, leaving me astounded and shocked at the same moment. Little did I have a clue that he was going to reciprocate in that way. No wonder he did.

Flabbergasted. I was quite flabbergasted by his gesture. He just got on my nerves. Nevertheless, I controlled my anger and resentment and decided to be as calm as I could. “Argh,” l let a sigh. Gathering all my courage and cool I sneaked inside abruptly, and walked behind the desk where he was sitting while staring at a file in his hand, “I want to talk.”
