Devika’s POV

“Are you okay?” I questioned feeling overwhelmed to see her awake finally after so many hours which really felt like forever to me. Exhaling, and not being able to keep within myself I dipped down my head and left a lingering kiss on her forehead, “Oh, finally you cared to open your eyes. I was just so scared,” I sighed while caressing her face and continued, “with the thought of losing you.” The dam which I had controlled for the whole time, broke at that moment.

A tear slipped out my eyes seeing her smiling at me, with the fact drowning in that she actually is staring and smiling at me. She raised her hand and wiped the single tear off my face. “I am fine, but I think you are not.” She chuckled and sighed laying her head back on the pillow. The pain was clearly visible in her eyes but still, she is being brave enough for me not to worry.

“Luna, I’m sorry for interrupting you both but it's important.” A lady standing beside Eva said taking my attention away from my mat
