Leila was nervous. She had spent weeks planning this with the help of her parents and parents-in-law. The bigger issue was getting Kelvin to the venue without ruining the surprise. He was out jogging and would be home soon, she needed to act now and fast.
Her phone rang as she was thinking up her next moves. Freya. “Hey, bestie,” she said into the phone. Moving to the window, she opened the curtains and was newly amazed by the view. Their new house was too big and the amount of space was bigger than she could dream about. Kelvin wanted to spoil them and she couldn’t refuse him. They even had a stable with ponies.
