35| Subtle Seduction…

Balia's POV

Once again, I was walking into the midst of people who were a thousand times richer than I was, had several bank accounts worth millions, and had probably spent the same amount I got paid yearly on a piece of fabric that could be easily torn with one pull. It was unbelievable.

It was crazy how my arms slipped into Senna's as he guided me through the door and into the large spacious hall, filled with tables covered in ivory silk, seats with chrome frames and plush silver cushions, extremely clean glass with serviettes expertly folded into them.

There was a large space— a dance floor, and it was covered in glitter. A crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, illuminating the room, and cold air blasted from the tall air conditioners.

I was brought back to earth when I heard someone speak, and when I raised my hand, it was a man, definitely younger than Senna, dressed in a gray pinstripe tuxedo.
