Elena pov

Hearing his heavy steps head over to the kitchen and another pair when they talk while they walk.

I slowly start to make my way over to the room without making any sound.

Coming inside the room I close the door slowly and lock the door before I listen for any sound.

It doesn't take long before I hear his heavy steps get up on the stairs at a fast pace and I take a step back in the room and hold the towel tight around my body when I feel droplets on my skin from my wet hair. I should wrap it in a towel but at the moment I don't dare to take the towel off my body and wrap it around my hair when his steps stop right outside the door.
