Chapter one hundred& twenty five

Amanda racked her brain, trying to think of something that would convince them. Then, she remembered something she had read in the book.

"The Order of the Night is planning an attack on the city tonight. Marcelin told us to warn you," she said, hoping it would be enough.

The hooded figures looked at each other again, seeming to confer silently. Then, the one who had spoken before nodded.

"Very well. We will take you to our leader. If you are lying, you will suffer the consequences," he warned.

Amanda, Hannah, and Rajan followed the hooded figures through the dark streets of the city, their hearts still racing with fear. They had no idea what they were getting themselves into, but they knew they had to trust their instincts if they wanted to survive.

As they approached a hidden underground lair, Amanda wondered what they would find inside. Would they finally meet Marcelin, or would they face something far more sinister?
