He knew they had to act fast if they were going to stop Aimea from doing something dangerous.When he arrived at Darell's home, he found him in a heated discussion with Marcelyn. She looked worried and upset, and Chris could tell that something was wrong."What's going on?" he asked, as Darell and Marcelyn turned to face him.Darell's expression was serious. "Aimea has gone too far," he said. "She's planning to separate me and Marcelyn despite the fact that I told her that Marcelyn is my mate and I have chosen her to be my Luna. The worst thing is that we don't have full information about their plans."Chris's heart sank at the news. Darell cursed under his breath. "We have to find them. We have to know what they're planning."Chris nodded in agreement. "I'll call in some favors. Maybe we can get some help."Darell knew that Chris had contacts in the area, but he also knew that they couldn't rely on them too much. They had to be careful not to draw too much attention to themselves.They spent the next few hours searching the area, asking questions and gathering information. But they couldn't find any trace of Fred and Sargus.As the sun began to set, Darell knew that they had to give up for the day. He quickly ducked behind a nearby dumpster to avoid being seen. They had not expected any other wolves to be present, but now it seemed that there was a full-blown battle raging inside the warehouse.Without hesitation, Darell and Chris charged into the building, their weapons at the ready. Darell leaned down, his face inches from Fred's. "You won't have the opportunity to come back, because we won't let you escape this time. And we won't hesitate to take you down and all of a sudden Fred and Sargus disappeared into the thin air."With that, Darell and Chris left the warehouse, their hearts pounding with adrenaline. Darell was still wondering what will be their next plan and what is really their plan with his mother Aimea. They are yet to discover the full information.Darell couldn't help but think about what his mother had said. Was it true? Did she really want Marcelyn dead because she was a vampire? He knew he had to talk to her, to try and understand her motives.Chris's heart raced as he watched Fred and Sargus disappear into the darkness. They had lost them. He turned to Darell, who was looking at him with concern."We lost them," Chris said, his voice shaking slightly.Darell nodded grimly. "I know. But at least we have a lead now. We know where they're headed."
