Ronan’s POV

“Do you really have a death wish?” Timon questioned me with a look of disbelief written boldly on his face.

I scoffed frowning at the ground. “I am not a coward, Timon. I have had enough of all these incessant warnings that have led to nowhere. Whoever is involved in trying to kill me is the actual coward, they attack behind my back shamelessly. If they want a good fight they will show their stupid face.”

The anger I was feeling after meeting with my uncle had simmered by the time Timon arrived. I felt the crazy urge to pick him up right there as he walked out on me and had him locked up. For someone who committed a grievous crime of abuse, he looks very unbothered.

He inhaled sharply. “Don’t get me wrong, your highness. You are not a coward and that is a known fact. I don’t just want you exhausting your energy on something that doesn’t matter much. You have too many things on your plate. There is the queen to protect. You can’t let your anger get in the way now.”
