I finally walked out of the cabin to find Neil sitting on the seat looking down at the floor, in deep thought.

"Let's go.", I said as he sat up with a start.

"Ye-Yes.", He mumbled before standing up and straightening his suit.

"I was wondering whether we should go to my apartment because it's late and you must be tired.", I said as he nodded in agreement.

The rest of the path was in complete silence.

Neil kept on driving his car not even glancing at me. As if he was regretting something. We reached my apartment soon. It was closer to the hospital. As we walked in Neil paused and looked up at the building, most probably remembering our good old days here. I signed.

Of course, they were gone.

"Let's go.", He said pulling me out of my trance as we collected the key from the watchman who was quite pleased to see us together.

We walked into the elevator.

I pressed the floor number.

The elevator's doors closed immediately as it started rising. There was no one
