Thirty Six | Web Of Lies

I sat in the empty prison quietly. The sound of mosquitoes coming and buzzing near my ears was too irritating to go around with but then, did I have a choice?

I sighed as I rested my head on the cemented wall behind me. It was cold but it was okay for me. I was from London after all.

I looked at the wall opposite to me. There was nothing in my mind, just blankness and one thought,

"Would I get out of this empty and cold jail, ever?"

I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I was woken up next morning by a hit from a stick. I slowly opened my eyes to find the constable looking down at me with loath.

"Come on you lazy head! Wake up!", He said in Hindi, extremely harshly.

I slowly got up as he pulled me out of the prison with handcuffs on. I was made to sit in the police van as he sat opposite to me, looking at me with extreme loath.

"Where am I going?", I asked as he gave me a hateful glance and said,

"To get what you deserve. Punishment.", He said as I drew in a deep breath. I looked o
