"How, pray tell, do you plan on doing that? From what I hear, this witch is one of the most powerful out of her coven," Mason said. He sipped his coffee as he walked back into the living room.

"I need to draw as much power as I can. Now, I can draw some from our child, but not too much. The only other source of power that I can draw from is Eli's curse. It is power from the witch herself," Lila finally said. Mason stopped the cup halfway to his mouth.

"Excuse me?" he asked.

"Yes, I know. It would mean that I have to get close to Aurora's son in order to draw from that power. Do not think I can lessen the curse though. That is not how it works," Lila said as Mason opened his mouth. He quickly closed it.

"So, you break the binding spell and then what?" Mason asked. "You have to give something just as good to Arden and Aurora in return for freeing you," Mason knew that to even take it to his son it needed to be a fair trade.
