Clarissa POV

I watch as he stares at me, I can see that he is thinking something, but I wish to know what it is that he is thinking at this moment. As I wait for him to give me the answer I want to hear, I pray silently that this isn't true. I can't imagine myself being a partner with those scary creatures if he is one. It will be the end of our relationship if he should tell me that he is really one, and I will forever stay away from him.

"Are you kidding me?" He suddenly chuckles as he reclines in his chair.

"You must've been watching too many horror movies, or reading too many fantasies. Those creatures... I don't think they exist," He shrugs his shoulders, and I bite my bottom lip.
