Episode 38

Fidelis walked down the dimly lit hallway of the omegas’ quarters. The walls were lined with torches that flickered in the cool night air. He was looking for Damon. Since he helped him regain the use of his legs, he has not been able to thank him.

“I don't think I have been fair to him,” he said to Emily earlier that day.

“What are you talking about?.”

“If he were to be Podolski, the alpha would have thrown a feast in his honor.”

“But he doesn't know, remember. Maybe we should keep it that way.”

“I know.”

“But I should thank him. He deserves to know that he saved my ass.”

As he approached the door to Damon’s room, he saw Tom, another omega.

“Damon isn’t here,” he said. Considering it was a rarity to have him visit their quarters, it wasn't even a task knowing who he had come for.

“Any idea where he went?,” he asked, frustrated that he had walked the distance just to be disappointed.

“He went to the alpha’s chamber on the alpha’s request.”
