Zed walked up to Damon, smiling.

“I sense trouble,” Tom whispered to Damon, upon sighting Zed. “I’ll see you later,” he said, as he quickly walked away.

“Hey, Damon,” he started, still smiling.

“I swore not to cross your path, and I haven't done that since you returned with her,” he said, not even bothering to look his way. Clearly, he didn't fancy his presence.

“Come on, Damon, I haven't come to fight. I came to thank you for saving my friend,” he said.

Damon looked at him skeptically. “Is that all?” he asked, unimpressed. He was not about to be fooled. He knew more than most how deceptive Zed was. Surely, he had not come to thank you for helping Fidelis walk again. After all, he had clearly shown his disgust towards him the moment Fidelis could feel his legs again.

“You think you've won?,” he had whispered to him

“Hey, come on, Damon, I know you don’t like me, but we can’t keep being enemies forever. I’m sorry about the way I treated you in the past, but I come in peace.”
