Chapter Twenty-Three

Gabriel

His snout to the ground, sniffing around the grassy plain, eager to find his woman. He knew he was getting closer and closer; the pull becoming stronger and stronger.

At the back of his mind, echoes of rationality were being buried under his primal instincts of his wolf spirit, his strong impulses clouded his human reasoning and he succumbed to his fiery ambition to find Angel, his mate. He was losing himself, his wolf spirit vanquishing his human, stable and cerebral side and there was nothing he could do to stop it, even if he wanted to stop it. All he could think about, all that was imprinted into his mind, was the thoughts and images of his mate, his woman, in bed with another man. Her betrayal was burning his heart and all he wanted was to take her back and punish her, make her feel the way he has felt.
