My Naked back was pressed to his chest and his arms tightly secured around me. I heard light snores from him showing he was still asleep. I sighed in fulfillment, feeling so loved remembering how he still worshiped my body, despite my scars. My lips tugged up in a smile and I wiggled back into his embrace causing him to shift in his sleep and wake up.

“You’re up early, are you okay love?” His voice was deep and husky.

“Yeah. and It’s not so early anymore, the sun is out,”

He groaned and stretched his body tiredly, closing his eyes again.

“Are you free today?” I asked him, seeing how reluctant he felt to get up from bed.

“Do you need me to stay with you?” He drew me closer to his chest.

I would have loved him to but I needed to make inquiries and know more about the Conversion and I can’t do that with him here.

“No, I’m going to be busy with Eliana” I lied.

“Alright”

He finally got out of bed and while he prepared, Rodor knocked and came in to check on my injuries as Keanu instructed.
