Chapter Fourteen - The blind date

Emelia’s Point of view

I stood in front of the restaurant as I sighed heavily afraid of taking a step and getting inside. I looked in the reflective mirror looking at my reflection. I was not Emelia this evening but rather my sister Eleanor.

I had longer collarbone wavy brown hair with the highlights, I had done a subtle smokey eye make-up on that I haven’t down in months. I wore a Split V-neck Short Sleeve Midi Length Sheath Dress and I settled for black pumps and a clutch.

I walked into the restaurant and walked to the reception area as I looked around wondering where Liam Anderson might be sitting.

“Good Evening Ma’am” A gentleman approached me before I could get to the reception.

“Good evening”

“Your Table is this way” He gestured for me to the right side of the restaurant. The place had an explicitly grand ambiance

The restaurant is roomy and dark with stained oak trim and finely carved wooden wrap-around bar to one side
