I sighed heavily, sitting back in my chair at home. I had taken time away from work and just rested. The year has been stressful for me.

From marrying the wrong sister to being accused of impregnating the other sister and having to fall in love with someone.

I stared out the window. I wondered what was it that Emelia always loved about this place. She constantly kept on looking through this window whenever she came to my study.

I sat in the chair she sits in and just stared out the top-to-bottom glass. The view of the city and the river looked spectacular from here.

The doorbell rang, and I sighed heavily, wondering who could be at the door. I know Emma travelled away for the next few weeks and I don’t get along with other members of my family.
