Anita had finally arrived in New York,she had not informed anyone of her return, not even Gracie, her roommate. She had the plan of taking them by surprise.

Walking through the passage for arrival,she went through the exit. Her driver stood by the side of the exit with her name he held up in a placard. She had made arrangements with an auto company who helped to pick people from the airports and drive them to their destination.

Seeing her name on the placard, she waved to the driver who walked up to her and assisted with her luggage, throwing the luggage in the trunk of the car when they got to where he had parked it.

As they drove past some tall buildings, she poked her head out of the car to feel the gentle breeze which blew.

Nothing had really changed since she left,it was still the same as she had left.

As they drew closer to her apartment, the smell of freshly baked bread made its way through her nostrils.
