Liam P.O.V.“LIAM!” Ah shit! It’s Maddie. I run out of my office and downstairs, and see the others running in the same direction as me. “What is it, babe?” I ask her, but she doesn’t answer. Maddie P.O.V. I can’t even begin to describe the excitement I am feeling for tomorrow. Finally I will be able to call Liam my husband. It has been a long time coming, but at the same time it has not even been that long. I know how things work in our world, and no one is together too long before they tie the knot because of our special circumstances. I have missed Balder and Lilliana since they went home to Iron Mountain, but I have kept in contact with them almost daily. Balder P.O.V.“Are you happy, sis?” I ask Maddie as we sway on the dance floor. Liam P.O.V. Waking in a guest room without my beautiful wife to be is a bit strange. For as long as Maddie has lived here, we have slept in the same bed. Never missing a night. But tradition calls for us to not see each other before the big event later this afternoon. Maddie P.O.V.When we went our separate ways last night I dreaded sleeping without Liam. I know it’s tradition, and I believe in them, but this one just sucks so bad. We have slept together, in the same bed, since I got to the pack. If we didn’t go to bed at the same time, we still woke up together and vice versa. I got to our room and when I opened the door, the girls were in there with snacks, drinks and games. Push up mattresses on the floor and something paused on the TV. Maddison P.O.V. I was 10 when my pack threw me out like yesterday's leftovers. The Alpha - Richard, usually was a strict but fair leader, but when it came to his Luna, he went overboard with all kinds of crazy. She fell ill, and even the magic in our doctors couldn’t help her. Maddison P.O.V. I can’t believe I already turned 19. The years have gone by so fast on one hand, and on the other it still feels like yesterday when I wandered through the rough terrain in the pitch black of the night. I’ve been dreading meeting my mate ever since I shifted on the night of my 18th birthday, but so far I’ve been lucky and not met anyone. I hope it stays that way because I will not make good mate material. Not with my past, and with my personality. The morning is foggy, but I know as soon as the sun comes up it’ll burn the fog away with its warm rays. I walk down to the little lake, just down from my cave, to wash myself.
