Chapter 7

She came home late at night. Jelca walked across their living room until she met the starting staircase leading up to where her room was.

She met his father at the edge of the stairway so she looked at him.

She never had a conversation with her father after the incident last night that's why she was hesitating to say a word first.

“Jelca, my child.”Her heart softened when she heard her father's voice. Despite her annoyance because her parents lied to her, she felt that she misses their embrace.

“Papa!” She ran to her father and immediately hugged her as tightly as she could.

Few tears travelled down her face. She distanced herself from her father after their tight hug.

“Change your clothes and we'll talk about your orogin after. Go downstairs and directly meet me and your Mama in the living room,” said her father.

“Sure, Papa!”

She was nervous but to end her mind from asking about her true self she should be courageous to listen about the reality.
